I've spent 25 years in the space where culture, sport, and brands collide.

It started with a pair of sneakers. In 2001, I opened Brazil's first store dedicated to collectible kicks, inspired by what I'd seen in Tokyo and Seattle, where crowds would dive through Foot Locker doors for an Air Jordan release. I once flew 12 hours to LA and waited 5 more in line just to get my hands on a Nike Dunk Tiffany.

That obsession took me places: six years at Nike leading seeding campaigns and working directly with influencers. Then Beats by Dre, where I moved to the US and helped create the Cannes Lions-winning campaign for the 2014 World Cup. And nearly six years at Apple, building the strategic partnership with Neymar and the Brazilian National Team.

Along the way, I learned something simple: real influence isn't bought, it's built through genuine connection. Whether at an airport or in a favela alley, all it takes is a glance at someone's feet to recognize a fellow freak. And that's where the conversation begins.
